Bar Risers or Replacement Handlebars for Sport Cup

Postby sign216 » Tue Feb 26, 2008 12:42 pm

What handlebar risers or replacement handlebars will work for a Sport Cup?

The clip on handle bars on my 97 Sport Cup make for a riding position that is uncomforable for long distance riding, so I'd like to change them. I understand that the bars used on the Tour/Traveler won't work because of the S Cup's fairing mounts.

What risers or bars have other people used?

Are Convertibars an option? http://www.webbikeworld.com/t2/motorcycle-handlebar-risers/
How about Helibars? http://www.helibars.com/

See you on the road,

Heli Bars wrote back to my enquiry, saying that they didn't have any bars for an MZ Sport Cup, but that with sufficient consumer interest they would make some up.

So for now, Heli Bars are not an option.

Clutch cable on the sport is shorter....you may also need a longer cable.
I'll look for the Paolo Terazzi clamps...and send a pic.
Send me your email...
