Where to get seat hardware?

Postby cghstang » Tue Oct 02, 2007 8:20 am

I lost one of the fasteners that holds the baggie seat on. I put a new battery in my street moto this weekend and must not have fully engaged the quarter turn fastener that goes up in the rear fender. It was nowhere to be found after my last ride.

I've never seen those fasteners anywhere else so I'm wondering where can I get a new one (or a couple)? Are they MZ specific or can I get some yamaha/ktm/xyz piece that will work?

Hopefully someone can enlighten me.
Thanks,

Not that I'm an expert or anything, but I believe those are called "Dzus" fasteners. This site appears to sell them:

http://www.dfcis.com/

Just from the looks of them, I'd say that ours are probably the "PX-1600" line.

Don't hold me to that, though.
