MZ ETZ 125 1988 Con Rod removal

Hello everyone, first time post. Please can you assist. I have stripped out the crankshaft and need to remove the con rod for replacement bearing. I am struggling to split to enable the con rods removal, is there a knack to it, it just wont budge. Thank you. Mark.
