Piston to cylinder clearance

Does anyone know the correct piston to cylinder clearance for the TS250/1? I'm considering getting a rebore and need to be able to tell the technician how much clearance to leave.

With original pistons 0,04 mm.
With Almot pistons you need more, some take 0,05 mm or more. The more you take, the louder the engine will be when cold...

Thanks for the advice - much appreciated! Just checked the 0.06mm converted to thou and it comes out at 0.0015" which seems a tad small to me? I do remember from past experience that MZ pistons have a pretty tight fit in the cylinder but is it really that tight? Cheers, Pat

According to the MZ literature it is 0,04 mm on TS and 0,05 mm on ETZ 250 engines.
