07 RT 125 compatible exhaust

Postby scott44b » Tue Jul 09, 2013 12:45 pm

Hi new here as just got my boy the above bike to get him on to the road, it will need a replacement silencer (Will it fail MOT without a baffle as it is not there?) it has a couple of holes in the silencer that I could fabricate and weld some plates on but that would be a waste if it will not be fit for MOT.
Anyway been onto Grahams bikes taunton, as we only live 25 mins away I thought it was great then shock of all shocks the silencer will cost in excess of £400 cough cough so we won't be buying that for a while yet.

The thing is are there any compatible or aftermarket non original exhausts on the market? the down pipe is solid and I could do any minor fabrication to mate up the pipes.

Thanks
Eric

Don't know if this would work or even legal but this is a popular option in the states:
