mirrors

had anyone else found the rubber gaiter for the mirrors is really rubbish? i knocked both my mirrors and the rubber split all the way round and detached

the bike is only 2 years old with 5500 miles on so i cant imagine the rubber has worn out causing it to split so easily. its only a minor problem but it really irritates me!

(its an RT125 btw, if it makes any difference)

i have always found the quality of rubber items fitted to bikes from europe
to not be the best ....the tires are good the rest is poor
and electrical wire and plugs have gone down in quality in the last 15 years
