NOTE IMPORTANT : Scorpion owners
THERE IS SECOND OIL FILTER UNDER THE AIR CLEANER AND ITS NOT OBVIOUS.
IT IS AN '' IN LINE'' FILTER AND DOES NOT LOOK LIKE A FILTER ...IT LOOKS LIKE A SIMPLE PIPE CONNECTOR WHICH CONNECTS THE OIL DELIVERY LINE FROM THE REMOTE OIL TANK TO THE METAL OIL LINE TO THE BOTTOM OF THE ENGINE . THE FILTER IS VERY NARROW AND CAN PLUG EASILY..
CLEAN IT EVERY TIME YOU YOUR CHANGE OIL..
I DIDNT KNOW ABOUT IT AND I COULD HAVE RUINED MY MOTOR.. AS IT WAS 95 % PLUGGED ..
ACTUALLY IM GOING TO REMOVE IT soon AND DESIGN A LARGER FILTER INSIDE THE TANK LIKE THE OLD BSAs ......

Thanks for posting this! I just bought a Skorpion Sport Cup and did a fluids change this weekend. I found the in-line filter you mentioned but how did you undo it? It looks somewhat fragile so I did not try too hard to loosen the bolt through the oil line with a wrench on the filter casing itself. I was afraid I might break or damage it. Any insights welcome!
