Hi All, Right, I have just about finished the refurb on my 1977 TS 250/1 and the only major thing to do are, as I have a seized clutch I intend to change the plates and at this time replace the main seals with new double lip seals. Now we have the problem. I cannot unscrew the tube that takes the clutch cable to the engine. I have so far heated the area and applied WD40 but not being able to put a ring spanner on you can only use an open ended it tends to squash the tube, mind you I was using an extension tube over a meter long. So, my next question is can you take the clutch cover off with the cable and tube in situe. Incidently, when I took the rev counter cover off the 3 screws were not on the adjuster plate. Strange?
Thanks for your help take care Alan.
