'96 Skorpion Tour fuel pump

Postby Trucker96 » Sun Aug 10, 2014 1:34 pm

I recently purchased a 1996 MZ Scorpion Tour 660. I have now figured out what the dangling plug is for. The fuel pump is missing. I cannot cross reference the pump because I don't know what it would look like. Any help would be appreciated. Thanx

the pump is not used on the mz
this 660 engine was used in some places where the tank was lower and needed it...
it was installed on some mz but often removed because the fellows found that it slowed down the fuel
flow

Really? Well that is great news!! It has been a challenge finding replacement parts & with no real manual, it only adds to the fun. I'm attempting to get this MZ back on the highway. It starts & runs but dies on acceleration. Thank you for your insight, I truly appreciate it.

the die on axcell is probably the result of the second carb being opened late
the second half is a cv and may not be adjusted to the proper kick in time
or the rubber bladder is damaged
