where iz the oil ?

Hello.
I have 1974,TS250, 4 speed.
Filling the gear box book states fill with 750cc of gl4.
OK
That's 25.36 oz, liquid.
ok.........
I put in 35 oz, and I have the drain screw out, 4:00 o'clock
position, in relation to the clutch adjust cover.

Peeking in............ wherz the oil???

if you put it in ,its there, as the book says , two stroke gearbox oil i think is designed to foam up and expand when the engine is running thus coating all moving parts,,whats bill say on the matter,,Bill! :?:

as some say.
Right.
I left the overflow plug out for 24 hours and I was rewarded to see and overflow in the drain pan.
Apparently it takes a long time to trickle from the gearbox to the clutch housing where the level
screw is located.

Interesting.
is that normal?

I'm not sure why but I know I have topped up the gearbox, nothing comes out, put in another 50ml, nothing comes out, put another 50ml in and 100ml comes out! It's the MZ way
