TS125 Swinging Arm Bushes

Postby Danfibian » Fri Dec 27, 2013 8:24 am

Hello and Merry Christmas. During the holidays I am going to remove my swinging arm on the TS so I can get it painted, however I understand there are rubber bushes with inner sleeves, removal of these parts wont be to much of a problem but fitting new ones maybe, and this is my question can fitting be done at home or will I need to get someone to do it. If there is a DIY way, what is the best way. Thanks

If they are a press fit then try the old put the bushing in the freezer and the swingarm in the wife's (or girlfriends) oven for bit, if that doesn't work you might need a press.
