Oxidised electrics

Postby ianc » Tue Oct 15, 2013 1:00 pm

Hiya,
Could anyone please offer advice on the best way to clean up old MZ electric terminals.

I’ve an old wiring harness (1979 TS150) which is basically in good condition but there is oxidisation on most of the spade terminals.
Cleaning up the males is easy enough but is there a good way to clean up the female spades. If possible I don’t want to start cutting them all off and replacing/resoldering.

Many thanks
Ian

I have a tool called an orifice cleaner. It is use to clean the nozzles on an oxy acetylene torch.
The serrated wires come in various sizes and I run the wire in and out of the female connector.
