Motor Swap

Postby fism72 » Sun Jun 05, 2011 5:53 pm

Will a raptor 660 or 700 engine fit in an 2003 Baghira? Great bike but I just want to ride this thing instead of searching for parts. Thanks

i had spoke with a reputable mechanic, who had also owned a baggi, that a raptor 700 will fit same mounts BUT, everthing else may need modifying.....he also said the 700 is much stonger/torque ect. so....who knows in reality though...

once i sorted out the mods past owners had made my traveller is running much better
as for parts every thing i have needed was found local

the clutch cable broke and i used one from my 95 Saxon Tour spares and some fittings from a bmw clutch lever
to make it work changed lever to a cannondale lever at the handle bar
and the BMW pieces on the bottom works great and all from the personal parts bin which is rather large
