trail tech vapor

Postby basser23 » Fri Nov 30, 2012 11:43 am

Hey guys,I know some of you have installed the Vapor on Skorpions...Doug Roy as well as Rodge70...questioni have is 2 fold.
1. When mounting the wheel sensor did ya use the rotor bolt magnet or the stick on? it says the rotation should be below the sensor, not in the middle of sensor(I mounted a Sigma BC400
and the magnet passes in the middle of the pick up)
2. Wiring...lights for turn etc. Did you use the bulbs and sockets for the Mz from the old instrument panel or use the Trail Tech pigtail and the Mz molex plug to the instrument cluster with
the Trial Tech wiring for the lamps?
Thanks
(note) i've finally after 2 years gotten around to installing this.
The unit is programmed to droy's settings,

i used the rubber damper ring that's fitted to the front wheel of my enduro model and that was fine till it decided to disintergrate and lost the magnetic bolt, had a couple spare in the shed and used stud lock to glue it to the hub, been there nearly 4years now on both sets of wheels and used the edge of the disc to help locate it rather than having nothing for it to butt up against.
i used the standard mz lights and loom with no cutting.had to add an led for temp warning on bike but trailtech caters for that anyway.

a word of warning,do not under any circumstances rush this part of the job.....................

Is there a particular vapor model that works with the Baggy, or are they universal? I've always wanted to do this conversion...
