ok 6 volt 21 watt bulb holders but i can only get the front left to light up? I disconnect the wires and touch the sender to any other bulb wire and no light up? What gives? In other words i can switch the left and right on the switch and as long as its that one light it works? checked connections free of corrosion or decay. Left and right are both getting power sent but cant light up the bulbs. Already put the other bulbs in the working fixture to ensure they worked. Cleaned grounds what next?

one thing i have found on old bikes
is some times fork neck bearings do not make a very good ground

hook a jumper from battery minus to the handle bars or a ground point in the headlamp

depending on the bike frame for earth ground is not good
a nice good number 12 stranded copper wire from all ground points to battery minus does wonders
for making things work better

Ok so here's what went down. I ended up noticing that there was in fact a bad ground somewhere but couldnt find it....solution.....created grounds from the bulb holder to the shaft of the fixture holder all on the inside of the lens. Worked great!but i still wonder why i can hit the brakes with the key out and it still lights up. Oh and dave as far as a correct wiring the pictures i have posted in mz ts 150 wiring problems show the correct wiring. I have yet to find a lucas wiring diagram for a MZ

i still wonder why i can hit the brakes with the key out and it still lights up

lots of bikes leave the brake circuit on when shut down

most of my home wired ones are that way

as for an MZ they seem to dance to a different drummer when the did the wiring
