Baghira popping?

Postby Baggy-trousers » Mon Sep 12, 2011 1:21 pm

Hi all,

My Baghira suffers a lot from popping on decelleration, the pilot screw was four turns out and I have now turned it out to six but the bike still suffers from excessive popping (changed the spark plug for a new iridium jobby and the old one was very clean! too lean??). I have a gpr tri-oval exhaust on order and would like to know with that pipe fitted what would be the best amount of turns on the screw to help eleviate the popping? (I will make sure there are no air leaks anywhere else) Any help/advice would be most appreciated.

All the best

Jay

Hi, the spiel on the website for the exhaust states that it has a removable db killer and baffle?

Different bike and carb, but I had to go to the next size larger needle jet and idle jet, then readjust the mixture screw a bit richer to get rid of it on my Silver Star.
