short blowing fuse rt125 but all read !!

the RT125 died the other night
and i had to haul it home
the 15 amp main fuse went out
after the rain stopped 4 days later
i found that the TAIL LAMP had a problem
the little copper clip in the light housing that connects ground wire to
lamp base had come disconnected from the socket
allowing it to back out and short out to the wire for the main run lamp filament
this made for a direct short to ground for the main feed to the whole bike

the little copper thing had a tab that holds it in the plastic
after a bit of work on the tab i was able to get it to stay clipped in the lamp housing
and not short out
