Twin leading shoe brakes

Postby DessieH » Wed Sep 07, 2011 7:55 am

Hi,
I have just aquired a CB 175 TLS brake. Many of you have already done this, but I'm wondering whether it's possible to build it into an MZ rim, since both have 36 spokes, or whether it's necessary to build it into a standard non-MZ rim. The MZ rim only has two spaces between the spokes where they fit onto the rim, whereas I remember wheel rims on older British bikes having 6 spaces . If it is possible, does anyone know what length or what angle the bend of the spokes need to be? By the way, the bike is a 1972 ES250/2
