i found the answer to my own question, there was nothing on the net,[incuding lots of searching, videos, and searching grimcea brakes]iphoned a mz dealer in liverpool and the answer is /You Dont, there are two 17 mm bolts at the back of the caliper remove these, a plate comes off and the inside pad comes out,the outside pad fell out when i took the caliper off.so the locating pins stay in the casting.i thought removing these bolts would split the caliper and spill fluid everywhere.every other bike i searched said remove the pins.Allso loosen these bolts in position thyre pretty tight to start, they have locking tabs as well.not a happy bunny as it took ages to find out.hope this helps someone out.reare pads are20 quid from grayhams m/c uk. regards jim.
