Skorpion electronic fuel injection-Just dreaming?

Postby djsbriscoe » Thu Apr 22, 2010 5:00 am

Hi,
I've had a look at the Microsquirt ECU

http://www.microsquirt.info/indexright.htm

and was wondering if a skorpion could ever be adapted to use such a system. I know a fuel injection throttle body would be needed to replace the twin carb set up but could one body be used with a two into one manifold? I'm assuming that the throttle pot and mass airflow sensor is incorporated in throttle body.

Not sure what else would be required as that's as far as i've gone with my research.

I think I have too much time on my hands at the moment so I tend to daydream a bit.

Anyone have any thoughts on the subject.

You would need a new ECU to read/monitor and adjust all the input parameters.
You're just left with yourself all the time, whatever you do anyway. You've got to get down to your own God in your own temple. It's all down to you, mate.
