Finally back onto an MZ after 27 years... My first job was as a youth opportunities programme mechanic at St Harmon Services specialising in MZ, Gilera and Benelli.
Started in 1981 on an MZ TS125 then bought a Pathfinder. Then saw a TS250/1 on a 78 plate but hadn't passed my test so put a sidecar on it.... Lots of bikes since then :)

Roll it forward to now and I've just bought a TS250 combination... Absolutely love it and getting it ready for shows over Winter...

Hi, welcome.

My history is a bit similar. New ts 150 in 1979, then lots of ts and etz 250/300s, the last of which was an etz with a ewbank chair. Sadly that went when I bought a Ural combo. Still got two etz 125s though!

Worth joining the mz riders club if you have not already.

My mate robin Davies is the south wales rep and runs a ts 250 combo and has done thousands of miles on it often abroad.

All the best

New carb fitted today... Bit of faffing about getting the needle in the right position, still a bit smoky but nothing too bad... Needs a decent run. Idles and accelerates fine.

Didn't have time to do the 12 volt upgrade as I also had to strip down my Puch MS50D ready for re-paint...
